CSU Protesters React to the Eric Garner Decision, Second Protest This Week

At approximate 12:00 p.m., students gathered for another protest. The protest was held in the Lory Student Center where students sat down on the floor of the LSC lobby and chanted “hands up don’t shoot,” “We will not be silenced” and ” I can’t breathe.” Compared to the previous protest that took place on the LSC Plaza, onlookers showed more aggression and were less considerate of the protest. Some onlookers shouted hostile remarks at the protesters such as calling the protest “inconvenient,” and shouting that students should get jobs.
