I haven’t been able to post on blog as regularly over the last few weeks, because I have been in the process of moving. I loved my previous apartment—International House, which was owned by the Colorado State University—but I have graduated, and it is time to for me to move. Now, I moved into a new house across town and it seems to work well so far.
Even though I didn’t have much stuff to move, I forgot how much of a pain it is. Packing all the little things like books, cookware, and office supplies really adds up. I got so focused on just moving the stuff that I forgot to check the weather, and I ended up moving my couch during a snowstorm (terrible on my part since I have degrees in meteorology). Last week, we got a bit of snow, and I am hoping that there will be no more cold-air-outbreaks and we have shifted into a spring/summer regiment. The only good thing about winter hanging around is that I got to shoot my first wedding in Estes Park, Colorado during a snowstorm. I’m glad the bride and groom stuck it out the conditions because it certainly made for good photos. Here’s to thinking of spring and summer.
